The Green Whistle Campaign is a sports initiative that uses green whistles to identify young referees and promote respect for them. The campaign aims to create a safer and more inclusive environment for referees of all ages. 

How does the campaign work?

• Green whistles are given to young referees to help identify them 

• The campaign encourages people to treat all referees with respect and courtesy 

• The campaign aims to help referees feel valued and encouraged 

• The campaign hopes to create a positive environment for young athletes 

Why is the campaign important?

• Community sports rely heavily on young referees 

• It's difficult to tell a referee's age by appearance or ability 

• When referees face disrespectful behavior, they may feel discouraged and leave the sport
